About the Independent Auto Dealers Association of Utah UtahDealers.com is a service provided by the Independent Auto Dealers Association of Utah. The Independent Auto Dealers Association of Utah was founded in 1974 as the only organization representing Utah's used car dealers. It's mission and objects are to protect its members from those organziations, businesses and government entities that may cause harm to the used car industry as a whole. It is the Associations objectives to see that the views of its members are expressed in all the activities, programs and legistation administered and that those members are represented and protected as an industry. The objectives of the services that UtahDealers.com provides is to provide a service to the consumer that makes the car buying experience easier but also makes the consumer comfortable with who they are purchasing from. The services of UtahDealers.com are only participated in by members of the Independent Auto Dealers Association of Utah. Members abide by a strict code of ethics that helps the consumer feel comfortable in their next auto purchase. IADAU Member Code of Ethics 1. Members will have a general duty of integrity, honor and fair dealing toward the general public. 2. Members shall comply with all City, County, State, and Federal laws and shall endeavor to keep themselves informed of those laws governing their business. 3. A member shall not intentionally injure the business reputation of another member or competitor. 4. We will employ truth and accuracy in advertising and selling. 5. Members shall stand by any guarantee given with the Contract of Sale of a motor vehicle. 6. Members shall not perform any act that would bring disrepute to the motor vehicle industry. 7. Members shall expose or halt where found, any scheme designed to deceive or defraud the automobile buying public and aid in prosecuting those involved in such acts. 8. We shall constantly strive to improve business methods to the end that the public will be better served. 9. Members shall encourage the American system of free enterprise. |
